The Roads of Laos

Visiting Laos was one of the biggest adventures in my trip to Southeast Asia. I went without any expectations, only having a rough idea of a few places I wanted to visit. It turned out to be a mesmerizing place, with jaw-dropping landscapes, incredibly friendly people, and unforgettable roads. Riding a motorbike through these dusty tracks, sided by massive mountains, is something to be experienced. It was beautiful to catch a glimpse of the innumerable small villages scattered along the roads, where life is as genuine and slow as it can be. Seeing the welcoming smiles of the locals, in spite of their difficulties, is humbling to say the least. I will definitely come back to this amazing country as soon as I can.
